On 9 and 10 March, the 3rd edition of the Professional Congress on Wood Conservation and Treatment – Expocida Madera will take place. Eguralt project partner XERA will participate in this conference in Bilbao, organised by the National Association of Environmental Health Companies.
The purpose of Expocida Madera is to transfer knowledge about new and effective treatments to manage pests and carry out the best prevention, conservation and maintenance of wood. Within this framework, on the morning of 9 March, a round table on “Pathologies in wood” will be organised. Manuel Touza, Doctor of Forestry Engineering at XERA – CIS Madera will present the Eguralt project during this round table. The title of his presentation is “Preventive protection of cross-laminated timber (CLT) panel buildings against subterranean termites”.
